MINERAL FRAGRANCES

MOST NOVAL DEVELOPMENT, SMELL OF AN IRON IS AS INNOVATIVE AS SMELL OF A THOUGHT

Revolutionary Mineral Fragrances

Aromatic Feel of Minerals

MINERAL NOTE

Mineral note is a complex whiff of ammonia, musty, metallic, acrid, sour, medicinal and a chemical smell. Scientists have sniffed out the reason for the musty and metallic odor you smell after handling coins or touching metal objects. A new study finds that the smell of a mineral is, ironically, a type of human body odor, created by the breakdown of oils in skin after touching objects that contain the element with minerals.

MINERAL PERFUMERY COMPOUNDS

The evaluation of these fragrances in terms of there application are highly complex matter and the linkage between olfactory sensing and chemical analyses is another challenge to be addressed. The first step in this direction was made by the help of an electronic nose that has three elements: an odor-sensor array, a data preprocessor, and a pattern-recognition engine. The signals that form the output of a sensor array do not provide a spectrum of scent constituents but rather information relating to the quality of the compounds, which are characterized by a particular sensor response signature. Thus, whereas gas chromatography-MS can detect individual volatiles quantitatively and qualitatively, the electronic nose can only make a cumulative analysis. There is a very limited application of these fragrances as they are next generation perfumery compounds.

Application Suitability

The use of currently available mineral specific aromatic promoters are yet to be isolated from other related genes may be necessary to allow expression of the transgene in an adequate spatial/temporal manner. Thus the suitability is limited.

Our fragrances are free from alcohol, non-inflammable, non-hazardous, non-toxic and for industrial use only.

Please Note: Due to the fact that our fragrances are very concentrated, we suggest that you test our fragrances in finished products before you make any conclusions about our fragrances. Since our fragrances are so strong, we suggest only using 0.5 to max 4% in any finished product. Our testing notes should never take the place of your own personal testing. Always test fragrance in finished (product) applications.

MINERAL ODOR SCIENCE OF PERFORMANCE

These are detected by ion mobility spectrometers (IMS). Such a method enables the detection of odor compounds, complementing canine detection and allows for mass calibration of IMS instruments. The odors associated with explosives and narcotics in canine detection. Studies using analytical chemistry and certified detection dogs suggest the primary odorant signature chemicals are the volatile compounds associated with the substance rather than the target compound itself. These aromatic compounds  in mineral ore are identified and used for the formulation and masking fragrances.
